![]() Time of Year - The pumping test of unconfined sand and/or gravel aquifer wells must be conducted during a time of average or below average seasonal stream flow conditions that is, when "normal" groundwater gradients have not been reversed or significantly altered.Other factors to consider when siting a project include flood plain location, agricultural districts, conceptual wellhead protection/recharge areas, existing or potential groundwater contamination sources, and existing subsurface utility corridors whose location could provide a preferential path for groundwater flow or contamination. IMPORTANT NOTE: Before starting construction, it is advisable to submit a location map of the proposed new wells and any related construction to the Division of Environmental Permits in the appropriate DEC Regional Office for a determination for whether that construction requires any other DEC permits, such as for disturbance of protected streams, protected freshwater wetlands, or for storm water runoff from a construction site. The requirements that follow have been designed to produce accurate and complete information vital to these determinations and whether modifications to the application or conditions in a potential permit are required.Īpplicants are advised to submit their pumping test plans to DEC prior to conducting a pumping test if the proposed test will deviate from these procedures in a substantive way. ![]() In reviewing any such application, DEC must determine if the proposed well(s) will adequately meet the needs of the applicant and if others who may rely on the same aquifer will be adversely affected. Oh - and get that clerk in the front store a jacket off the rack to wear and promote because it's freezing in there with the doors opening and closing.Pumping Test Procedures for Water Withdrawal Permit ApplicationsĭEC regulations (leaves DEC website) require that pumping test results be submitted with any Water Withdrawal Application for new or additional groundwater sources, or reassessment of previously permitted wells. It's a lot of money to spend for bad service. The most depressing part was that we were getting together from different parts of the state to celebrate birthdays and were in such a rush that we had to say forget anything special - just bring the food. I have been in groups way larger than the 9 we had today with WAY better service, warm bread, and hot food so I don't know what happened today. It took another 25-30 min for our food and then we complained and ended up basically inhaling just ok desserts to make it to the show. It was over 15 minutes before the waitress even acknowledged our table - we finally got drinks 10 to 15 min later, then waited again for salads, another 10 or so for dry, cold bread and then we sat. I have been here over 6 times and I have never experienced service like today. The show was great and maybe we had a different Sandy because she gave me goosebumps on a few songs - so good! What wasn't good was the luncheon service. We were all family and adult people- no kids or teens. The choices supplied did not fit our group. Later in this review it asks who was with us. I can hardly wait for the next time we all go. Their voices were the best and the whole thing riveled the movie. The actors and actresses were well-chosen for the parts they played. The music and singing were spectacular! It was two and a half hours which flew by. I sat in the front row with my husband and sister. The others loved their entrees and by the time we came to dessert, we were so full that we had them box it up and we took it home. My meat was so tender, I could cut it with a fork. The mushroom soup (I cannot remember its name) was the best I have ever had. Our waiter was attentive and helpful, answering any questions we had about what was what on the menu. We had a table for six and had an excellent view of the dining room. I didn't have the mobility and time to visit them this time, but in the past, I have purchased clip earrings, sequined Christmas ties, sweat shirt, vase for holding flowers, ornaments, and other items. There is a fireplace, a bakery where their special breads are sold, and several shops. It is warm and cozy, but seems to extend forever. She waited patiently and did not leave me alone until the rest of our party caught up to me. When we arrived, our tickets were at the "Will Call" booth and a requested wheel chair was quickly provided along with a young lady to push me to wherever I wanted to go. We have been to The Fireside Dinner Theater before, but this was the best one of all.
